CALA CALIS

CALA CALITJÀS
This small bay of 110m, surrounded by cliffs and transparent waters, is between the coves of Montjoi and La Pelosa about 14 km from the centre town. It can be reached on foot from the sandy road that runs from Cala Montjoi to Cala Jòncols. The sand is medium grained and grey sand. The water becomes deep quickly.
CALA JÒNCOLS
Virgin cove, wild and rugged landscape of cliffs, situated 18 km from Roses. Reached by a coastal road that runs along the entire coast, passing behind Cape Norfeu and finishing at Cala Jòncols cove. The water becomes deep quickly. Ideal for scuba diving. Since 2009 it has the European environmental certification EMAS and the international ISO 14,001.
CALA MONTJOI
Wide and busy beach, ideal for providing shelter for the boats and scuba diving. Situated 12 km from Roses and access to the same coastal road leading to the Cala Jòncols. The water becomes deep quickly, Since 2009 has the European EMAS environmental certification and the international ISO 14,001.
CALA MURTRA
Cove located about 10 km from the town, lonely and with wild landscape. As the Rustella creek, difficult to access by land, for this reason has become a small paradise for those who have access to boats. This cove is authorised to practice nudism. CANYELLES PETITES BEACH
The Canyelles Petites beach is a semi urban beach located in a residential neighbourhood of the same name, about 3 km from the town of Roses, taking the road from the lighthouse to the Almadrava beach. It is a golden sandy beach, with crystal clear waters and sandy ground, about 350 meters long and 25 meters wide. Beach enjoying success among swimmers because it is sheltered from the Tramuntana wind. This beach was certified in 2003 with an Environmental Quality System EMAS and ISO 14001.
ALMADRAVA BEACH
Residential semi-urban beach that is about 5 km from Roses, taking the coastal road from the city center to Almadrava beach. It is a sandy beach and deep blue water. It has a length of 500 meters and a width of 25 meters and rest sheltered of the Tramuntana wind. This beach has the quality ISO 14001 and EMAS Environmental Certificate since 2003.
CALA PELOSA
This cove is protected by Cape Norfeu and enjoys more popular tradition of Roses. Cala located 15 km from the town, following the same coastal road that leads to Jòncols cove. The water becomes deep quickly. Since 2009 it has the European environmental certification EMAS and the international ISO 14,001.
SALTA BEACH
Beach located on the coastline of the neighbourhood of the same name, which offers a local shopping area, entertainment, food and lodging. This beach is approximately 500 m long, sandy and shallow and clear water, which makes it one of the busiest beaches. Behind the beach is the promenade, where you can enjoy doing different activities such as walking, cycling or playing marbles, among others. Beach certified according to European regulation EMAS and international ISO 14,001, with the promenade in the summer of 2003.
